Technical information

2.1. The electrostimulator's software provides:

2.1.1. Keyboard input of patient profile (name, date of birth, diagnosis, additional information); automatic input of session date.

2.1.2. PC display visualization of ongoing session modes, as well as database storage of session modes parameters.

2.1.3. The facilities to process and keep database containing patients profiles, as well as information about sessions and modes sorted by patients' family names in alphabetical order.

2.1.4. Stimulating impulses parameters setup and the means to combine various parameters to preset required stimulation mode.

2.1.5. The facilities to preset individual characteristics for each separate point stimulation.

2.1.6. Transmission of stimulation impulses (with parameters specified) from electrical unit of the system to each stimulation electrode.

2.1.7. Sequential stimulation of points.

2.1.8. Multiple repetition of stimulation process with preset mode.

2.1.9. PC monitor indications displaying:

a) alterations of electrical conductivity in the process of moving search electrode over a patient's skin area;

b) stimulation modes parameters.

2.1.10. Up to 1000 patients profiles may be stored in database, given 10 Mb free hard-disk space available.

2.2. KES components dimensions.

2.2.2. The length of cables connected to search and control electrodes, m, is not less than 1,5

2.4. Electrostimulator's power consumption characteristics.

2.4.4. The minimal operational readiness time is no more than 1 min.

2.5. Basic technical characteristics

2.5.1. Load resistance values range from 10 kOhm up to 1 MOhm

2.5.2. The maximal voltage between search and control electrodes, V, is not greater than 2,5

2.5.3. The stimulation impulse amplitude increases from 0 V up to 10 V, within the period, sec., not less than 20

2.5.4. The stimulation impulse amplitude may be regulated within the range from 0 V up to 10 V with 0.1 V step, given the load resistance is preset according p. 2.5.1

2.5.5. The increase/decrease step of stimulation impulses amplitude should be chosen among 3, 6, 9, 12 % values with the help of manipulator

2.5.6. Regulation range for stimulation impulse duration, ms, is from 4 up to 750

2.5.7. Impulse type — positive isosceles trapezium; Impulse polarity is positive or negative

2.5.8. Regulation range for impulse sequence frequency, Hz, is from 0,17 up to 125 (depending of impulse duration, selected according to p. 2.5.5)

2.5.9. Regulation range for duration of point stimulation, sec., is from 1 up to 60

2.5.10. The range of induced electrical resistance values for acupuncture point, MOhm, is from 0 up to 1
