- Pressure Transmitters
Pressure transmitters MIDA (Russian abbreviation of Microelectronic Sensors) proportionally transform into unified output 4-20 mA (or 0-5 mA or U0 - Umax, where U0=(0..5)V,
Umax=(2..10)V) the following physical quantities:
- gage pressure in operating temperature range from -40 to +80 ° – MIDA-GP-13(-M); MIDA-GP-13-C; MIDA-GP-13-Fp(-Svp)
- gage pressure-vacuum MIDA-GVP-13
- vacuum MIDA-VP-13
- absolute pressure MIDA-AP-13; MIDA-AP-13-C; MIDA-AP-13-Fp(-Svp)
- gage pressure of high-temperature media: MIDA-GP-12-05, MIDA-GP-12-072 and MIDA-GP-12-11 up to +200 °C; MIDA-GP-12-06, MIDA-GP-12-081, MIDA-GP-12-082, MIDA-GP-12-083, MIDA-GP-12-12, up to +350 °C
Transmitters MIDA-GP-12 and MIDA-13 are produced in ordinary and intrinsic-safe (-Ex) modifications.
Transmitters MIDA-13-Fp are explosion-proof with flame-proof enclosure.
Transmitters MIDA-GP/AP-13-C have built-in microprocessor which provides the overall error of 0.25% or 0.5% FS.
Transmitters MIDA-GP/AP-13-KN are supplied with function to shift measurement range.
Transmitters MIDA-GP-13-M do not need zero and span adjustment during their service life.
Transmitters MIDA-GP-12-05, MIDA-GP-12-06, MIDA-GP-12-072,
MIDA-GP-12-081, MIDA-GP-12-082, MIDA-GP-12-083 are of flash-mount type and ecologically safe.
Accuracy of high-temperature transmitters is guarantied at the working temperature of measured medium.
Transmitters MIDA-GP/AP-13-Fp-Svp with 4-20 mA output have built-in surge voltage protector.
In transmitters MIDA-GP-12 (with measured medium temperature range up to +350°C) the pressure transducer and the electronic unit are separated; they are electrically connected by cable of about 1 m long.
The pressure ports of transmitters can be made according to special orders of customer.
The electrical connections and pressure ports of transmitters may be made by terminal block with sealing gland (S),
or by plug/socket (PS), or by cable (C).
- Pressure Transducers
Pressure transducers transform into proportional electrical output with standard zero and full scale values the following physical quantities
- gage pressure of high-temperature media: MIDA-GP-51, MIDA-GP-61 up to +150 °C; MIDA-GP-82 up to +200 °C; MIDA-GP-52, MIDA-GP-62 up to 300 C; MIDA-GP-55 up to 500 °
- absolute pressure: MIDA-AP-51, MIDA-AP-61, MIDA-AP-73
- differential pressure: MIDA-DP-63
Transducers’ accuracy (combined nonlinearity, hysteresis and repeatability) in normal conditions is 0.1%FS or 0.2%FS.
Transducers MIDA-GP-55 are designed for measuring pressure pulses in diesel.
The pressure ports of transducers can be made according to special orders of the customer.
The electrical connections of transducers are made by plug/socket (PS), or by cable (C).
- DC power supplies and safety barriers
Multichannel DC power supplies MIDA-PS-104, MIDA-PS-106 with electric isolated channels are designed for energizing transmitters and other devices working in explosion-proof conditions.
One and two channel power supplies with safety barriers MIDA-PSSB-102-Ex are designed for energizing transmitters with output 4-20 mA working in explosive conditions and conversion of this output into standard DC current output 4-20 mA or 0-5 mA.
The electrical connections are made either by terminal block or by plug/socket (recommended for use in atomic stations).
Intrinsic safe barriers MIDA-ISB-105-Ex are designed to ensure power supply, implosion protection and output conversion of transmitters.
- Digital indicators
Digital indicators MIDA-DI-201, MIDA-DI-202 digitally indicate the information about pressure, temperature or any other physical quantity, transmitted by two-wire 4-20 mA loop.
Indicators MIDA-DI-201 are produced both in ordinary and safe-intrinsic (MIDA-DI-201-Ex, MIDA-DI-202-Ex) versions.
Digital indicators do not need any additional power supply; they are connected in series with the transmitter and can be placed in any convenient position.
Multifunctional digital indicators MIDA-DI-202(-Ex) have adjustable indication range and may be realigned to read from any sensor or an execution unit having 4-20mA output signal.
- Surge voltage protection devices
Surge voltage protection units MIDA-SVP-301 protect transmitters and other devices
with 2-wire input/output 4-20 mA from lightning discharge or industrial power induction.
Surge voltage protection units are produced both in ordinary and intrinsic-safe
(MIDA-SVP-301-Ex) versions.
Besides separate protection units MIDA-SVP-301, IG MIDA produces pressure transmitters MIDA-GP/AP-13-Fp-Svp with built-in surge voltage protection.
